Privacy Policy

What Make Hotel Lobby collects when you make a video, who processes it, how long it is kept and how to delete it.

Last updated: 2026-10-13

This policy describes how Make Hotel Lobby ("we", "the Service") handles your information. It is written for this product: you upload one or two photos and receive a generated video.

Operator: Make Hotel Lobby (makehotellobby.app). Privacy contact: support@makehotellobby.app.

What we collect

  1. Account information — your name and email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares.
  2. Photos you upload — the photo or photos you choose for a video. Each is checked in your browser first and uploaded only after you sign in. Hidden data in the file (EXIF, including location) is removed before it is stored.
  3. Generated videos — the videos made for you.
  4. Usage and billing records — which videos you started, their status, and the credits held, spent and returned.
  5. Payments — when you buy credits, our payment provider and merchant of record, Waffo, collects your payment details. We receive the order reference, amount, currency and your email address. We never see or store card numbers.
  6. Safety-check records — for each photo and each finished video: whether it passed the automated check, the policy category if it did not, and the scores. If you send a report or an appeal: what you wrote and, if you give it, your email address.
  7. Technical data — IP address and basic request data, used for rate limits and security.
  8. Traffic source — the site or campaign you came from (for example a referring domain or a utm_source value) and which steps of the flow you reached. We do not record page contents, your photos, prompts or full URLs for this.

How we use it

  • To make the video you asked for and keep it available to you.
  • To keep your account and credit balance correct.
  • To prevent abuse and fraud.
  • To answer support requests.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages and steps work.

We do not sell your data. Your uploads and videos are private: they are reachable only by your account through links that expire after a few minutes.

Who processes your data

  • Video generation provider. To make a video we send your photos to a third-party company that runs the AI video model for us (the model is named in the facts table on the home page). What we know about how long that company keeps what it receives is stated in the same table, in the line "Processing by the video provider". If that line says "Not verified yet", the generator is not open to the public.
  • Content-safety services. Before a photo can be used, and before a finished video is shown to you, it is sent to automated safety checks: SeeAPI (GROWCRAFT PTE. LTD.) (an automated content check on photos and finished videos; it downloads each file through a link that expires after ten minutes). No public-figure recognition service is used. When a video is made with sound, its soundtrack — generated by the AI model, it contains no recording of you — is sent to Deepgram to be turned into text, and that text is checked by SeeAPI (GROWCRAFT PTE. LTD.). They return a decision — flagged or not, with labels or scores; a refused photo is deleted at once. We keep the decision, the category and the scores for 365 days — never the image, never the words heard in a soundtrack, and never the name of anyone a check recognised.
  • Waffo — payments, as merchant of record, under its own privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and private file storage (R2). Neon — database.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Some of these providers process data outside your country.

How long we keep it

  • Uploaded photos: 7 days after upload, then deleted automatically. A photo still needed by a video that is being generated is kept until that video finishes.
  • Generated videos: 30 days after creation, then deleted automatically.
  • Account data, orders and credit history: while your account exists; billing records as long as the law requires.

You can delete a video and its photo at any time from My videos. Deleting removes the files; the order and credit records of that video are kept as financial records. If the video provider keeps a copy for a period of its own, that is stated in the facts table on the home page.

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. Do not upload photos of minors.
