Acceptable Use Policy
What may not be uploaded or generated on Make Hotel Lobby, how content is checked, how to report a video, and what we do about violations.
Last updated: 2026-10-13
Make Hotel Lobby makes short AI-generated videos from photos of people. This policy says what the service may not be used for, how we check, and what happens when the rules are broken. It describes how the product actually works — if the product changes, this page changes with it.
1. What this policy covers
- Photos you upload. One or two photos per video.
- Videos generated for you. Every video made here is AI-generated.
- What it does not cover, because the product does not have it: you cannot type a prompt, and you cannot upload video or audio. The prompt that drives a video is written by us and is the same for everyone using a template. There is no public gallery of user videos: your videos are private to your account.
2. How a video is made — and what we do not do
Videos are generated by an AI video model from our prompt and your photos. The model in use: Wan 3.0. It is also named in the facts table on the home page and on every video in My videos. Every video is labelled as AI-generated on this site, and the downloaded file name says so. The video file itself carries no mark, so saying that it is AI-generated when you share it is up to you — and required.
We do not offer face swapping, and we do not replace a person in an existing video. We do not use footage of any performance, show or music video as a source, and no existing song or recording is included in a video. Where a video has sound, it is generated by the AI model together with the picture.
3. You may
- Upload a photo of yourself.
- Upload a photo of other adults who agreed to it being used this way.
4. Prohibited content
The following six categories may not be uploaded or generated. Each is listed with what we do about it.
4.1 Pornography and sexual content
Not allowed: Nudity, sexual acts, erotic or sexually suggestive images, and any attempt to make a sexual video of a person.
How we enforce it: Every uploaded photo and every finished video is scanned for nudity and sexual content. Flagged photos are refused and deleted; flagged videos are never delivered. When a video is made with sound, the words in its soundtrack are transcribed and screened as well.
4.2 Violence and gore
Not allowed: Graphic violence, blood and injuries, threats with weapons, and self-harm.
How we enforce it: Every uploaded photo and every finished video goes through an automated content check before it can be used or delivered; flagged photos are refused and deleted, flagged videos are never delivered. When a video is made with sound, the words in its soundtrack are transcribed and screened as well.
4.3 Hate speech and hateful symbols
Not allowed: Content that attacks people for who they are, including Nazi, supremacist and terrorist symbols.
How we enforce it: Every uploaded photo and every finished video goes through an automated content check before it can be used or delivered. You cannot type a prompt, so no text of yours reaches the video model. When a video is made with sound, the words in its soundtrack are generated by the AI model; they are transcribed and screened, and a video whose soundtrack cannot be checked is not delivered.
4.4 Child safety
Not allowed: Any photo of a person under 18, and any sexual content involving a minor. This service is for adults and photos of adults only.
How we enforce it: Photos of anyone under 18 are not allowed, and you confirm before every video that you have the right to use the photos. Every uploaded photo goes through an automated content check, but that check does not estimate age — so this rule depends on you and on reports. A report about a minor is handled first: the video and its photos are removed and the account can be paused.
4.5 Deepfakes and impersonation
Not allowed: Videos of celebrities, politicians, artists or other public figures; videos of anyone who has not agreed; and passing off a generated video as real footage.
How we enforce it: We do not offer face swapping or replacing a person in an existing video. Uploaded photos are not compared with a database of public figures: you confirm before every video that everyone in the photos agreed, and we act on reports — a reported video and its photos are removed and the account can be paused.
4.6 Copyright and trademark infringement
Not allowed: Using music, recordings, footage, characters, logos or brand names you do not have the right to use.
How we enforce it: You cannot upload video or audio and you cannot type a prompt. The prompts are written by us, contain no artist, song, show or brand names, and are screened against a blocked-terms list before a template can be published. Any sound in a video is generated by the AI model, not taken from a recording; its words are transcribed and screened for the names on that list.
Zero tolerance
Sexual content involving a minor is never allowed. When it is detected or reported it is removed, the account is paused, and we may report it to the authorities where the law requires.
Also not allowed
- Presenting a generated video as real footage of a real event, or as something a person really did, said or endorsed.
- Hiding that a video is AI-generated when you share it, or telling anyone that it is real.
- Harassing, defaming, threatening or deceiving someone with a video.
- Uploading photos you do not have the right to use.
- Trying to get around the checks or the limits, or interfering with the service.
5. How content is checked
- In your browser, before upload: file type, size and dimensions.
- Every uploaded photo, automatically, before it can be used: an automated content-safety check by the services listed below. A flagged photo is refused and deleted immediately; we keep the decision, not the photo.
- Every finished video, automatically, before you can see or download it: a content-safety scan. A flagged video is not stored and not delivered, and the credits held for it are returned.
- Prompts, which only we write, are screened against a list of blocked terms (names of real people, artists, songs, shows and brands, and sexual, violent and hateful vocabulary) before a template can be published. We update that list when a report or a new trend makes a term relevant.
- A person reviews reports, appeals and paused accounts.
The automated services currently used: SeeAPI (GROWCRAFT PTE. LTD.) (an automated content check on photos and finished videos; it downloads each file through a link that expires after ten minutes). No public-figure recognition service is used. When a video is made with sound, its soundtrack — generated by the AI model, it contains no recording of you — is sent to Deepgram to be turned into text, and that text is checked by SeeAPI (GROWCRAFT PTE. LTD.). If a check cannot run, nothing is generated or delivered until it can — an unchecked photo or video is never treated as approved.
Automated checks make mistakes in both directions. They can refuse a photo that is fine, and they cannot tell whether a private person agreed to be in a video — for that we rely on your confirmation and on reports.
We keep a record of each check (the decision, the category and the scores — never the image or the name of anyone recognised) for 365 days.
6. Reporting
If a video made here shows you or someone else without agreement, or breaks this policy in another way, use the report form. You do not need an account. Tell us what the video shows and where you saw it; do not send illegal material itself.
A person reads every report. We aim to give a first answer within 3 business days, and handle reports about child safety first. If you leave an email address we tell you the outcome.
7. What we do about violations
These are the actions we actually take:
- Refuse and delete an upload — automatically, when a photo is flagged.
- Withhold a video — automatically, when a finished video is flagged. The credits are returned.
- Remove a video and its photos — after a report we find to be justified.
- Pause video generation on an account — automatically after 5 refused uploads within 7 days; immediately for sexual content involving an apparent minor; or by us after reviewing a report.
- Keep generation paused permanently — for serious or repeated violations.
- Report to authorities — where the law requires it.
Pausing an account does not delete it. Credits you paid for are handled under the refund policy.
8. Appeals
If a photo was refused or your account was paused and you think it was a mistake, sign in and send an appeal through the report form within 30 days. A person reviews it. Because refused photos are deleted, we may ask you to describe the photo or upload it again.
9. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date above.
