Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Make Hotel Lobby ("the Service").

The Service

The Service makes a short AI video from one or two photos you upload (the home page says how many). What a video contains (length, shape, resolution, watermark, audio) is shown in the facts table on the home page and again before you confirm a video.

Your account

You need an account to upload photos, generate a video or buy credits. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18.

Credits

• Videos are paid for with credits bought in one-time packs. There is no subscription.
• Credits do not expire.
• The price of a video in credits is shown before you confirm. When you confirm, that many credits are held. They are spent when your video has been saved, and returned automatically if generation fails for a technical reason.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

What you may upload

You may only upload photos that you have the right to use, of yourself or of people who agreed. You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse a request or remove content that breaks these rules.

AI-generated content

Every video made by the Service is generated by an AI model. The model in use is named in the facts table on the home page and on each video in My videos. Each video is labelled as AI-generated on the site, and the downloaded file name says so. The video file itself carries no visible mark and no provenance credential.

Photos are checked automatically before they can be used, and finished videos are checked before they are delivered, as described in the Acceptable Use Policy. A video that fails the check is not delivered and the credits held for it are returned.

When you share a video, say that it is AI-generated and do not present it as real footage.

Your content

You keep the rights you have in the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the Service to you. Your uploads and videos are private; see the Privacy Policy.

Whether you may use a generated video commercially depends on the video provider's terms. The facts table on the home page states this; if it says "Not verified yet", do not assume commercial use is allowed.

Music and third-party rights

Videos made by the Service do not include the original song or any other existing recording. Where a video has an audio track, the sound is generated by the AI model together with the picture; the facts table on the home page says whether it has one. The Service does not provide, bundle or license existing music. "Hotel Lobby" is the title of a song by other artists; the Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any artist, label, show or AI company, and does not grant you any right to their names, likenesses, recordings or trademarks. If you add music or post a video elsewhere, you are responsible for having the rights to do so.

No guarantees

AI output varies. We do not promise that a video will resemble a specific person, match a specific example, be free of visual errors, go viral or rank anywhere. The Service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending use

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email.
